Kakak: Michael Jackson Belum Dikubur

Angeles Apakah Michael Jackson sudah dikubur setelah upacara penghormatan terakhir 7 Juli lalu? Itulah pertanyaan yang jawabannya masih misterius. Namun kini untuk pertama kalinya, keluarga Michael memberikan pernyataan kalau King of Pop itu belum dikubur.

"Dia belum dikubur. Dia belum ada di tanah. Pihak Forest Lawn mengizinkan kami menyimpan jenazahnya di sana sampai kami memutuskan akan melakukan apa," urai Tito Jackson, kakak Michael, seperti berita dari Mirror, Rabu (15/7/2009).

Pernyataan Tito di atas seolah membantah kabar yang mengatakan kalau saat ini jenazah Michael berada di suatu tempat di bawah tanah di gedung utama Forest Lawn. Kabar yang sebelumnya beredar jenazah Michael dikubur dengan menumpang di liang lahat milik pendiri Motown, Berry Gordy.

Seperti dijelaskan Tito, Forest Lawn rupanya hanya jadi tempat persemayaman Michael untuk sementara. Di mana sang legenda akan dimakamkan untuk selamanya? Keluarga belum memutuskan.

Namun untuk Tito, dia sangat ingin Michael dikubur di 'istananya' Neverland. Meskipun Tito tahu, Michael sebenarnya tak pernah lagi suka dengan Neverland pasca polisi mengobrak-abrik rumah tersebut pada 2003. Saat itu polisi mencari bukti kasus pelecehan anak yang dituduhkan pada pelantun 'We are the World' tersebut.

"Menurutku memang di sanalah tempat yang dia inginkan karena itulah warisannya," tutur Tito.

Ditambahkan Tito, ia yakin Michael ingin Neverland bisa tetap dinikmati banyak orang. Lagipula jika berada di 'negeri impian' itu, setiap orang bisa merasakan semangat Michael.

Dilirik Dunia Karena Mengubah Kotoran Sapi Jadi Batu Bata

Bau, kotor dan menjijikan, itulah kesan pertama terhadap kotoran sapi. Tapi di tangan pemuda kreatif, kotoran sapi itu diubah menjadi batu bata. Kini, produk tersebut telah dilirik 22 negara di berbagai belahan benua.

"Batu Bata ini mendapat Juara 1 tingkat International dalam Global Social Competition Venture yang diadakan oleh Universitas Berkley, California, AS 2009. Saya bersama mahasiswa dari Universitas Prasetya Mulya Yogyakarta," kata penemu batu bata kotoran sapi Syammahfuz Chazali, dalam Anugrah 10 Pandu Andalan Nusantara (PANDU) di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Selasa, (14/7/2009).

Batu bata yang ditemukan mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian, UGM ini 90 persen dari kotoran sapi. Sisanya dari tanah. Waktu merubah kotoran sapi menjadi bahan batu bata selama tiga minggu. Selebihnya diolah seperti batu bata pada umumnya.

"Biaya 30 persen lebih hemat," tambahnya.

Alhasil, kini 22 negara siap mengadopsi teknologi ramah lingkungan tersebut. Guna menghindari permasalahan ke depan, hak paten sedang diproses dan rampung tahun ini.

"Mereka adalah 10 generasi pemuda yang perlu terus didukung," kata Menpora Adhyaksa Dault dalam sambutan pada anugrah acara tersebut.
